Common mistakes we all do but sometimes these mistakes can turn your trip into disappointments, regret, stress and most importantly wasting money. Below are those common and careless travel mistakes which we usually do. Hope these tips will help you in planning your perfect traveling trips.

• Over-packing

Don’t over pack your bag instead pack only those things which you really required. Remember you can buy the stuff if it’s necessary.

• Passport – Visa Check 

Before booking your trip, check the passport expiration date.  If you need a visa for your trip, then it’s mandatory, but check the rules for your destination long before the trip begins to avoid unnecessary hassles on the last moment.

• Travel Insurance

Most importantly the biggest mistake we make is not buying a Travel Insurance. Buying a travel insurance will safeguard you from unexpected travel emergencies like from flight cancellation to luggage lost.

• Important Documents

Carry a hard copy of your documents along with a digital-safe copy. Extra copies of your identity verification documents such as passport, driver’s license, IDs, travel insurance policy, credit cards, etc. should be carried along.  Last minute checking creates a lot of chaos and mental trauma.

• Double Check Booking Details

Before heading for your journey double check the traveling dates and flight details to avoid any inconvenience

• Don’t Have Blind Faith On Guide Books

Collect information related to weather conditions, tourist attractions, itinerary and currency before traveling. Guidebooks are there to help you but allow yourself to explore your own initiative.

• Notifying Bank Your Travel Plans

Before traveling, notify your bank about your travel plans to avoid having your debit or credit card cancelled due to “unusual activity”. They must be knowing it’s you who’s using the card.
