Success is Sweet But The Secret is Sweat
I want to be successful. In fact who doesn’t? The only reason we plan for a career in different ways is to reach the top. We run since day one of our careers till the last day we work on our goals. All of us have dreamt big in life but is that easy to make grab them in reality? We keep pushing ourselves every day; still, we see that our goals are standing far apart.
“Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt
Let’s take ride of our journey till now.
I am a bibliophile and I learn a lot about the world from those. A few days back I was reading the Hippie by Paulo Coelho. I must say that this book is one of my favorites now. It tells us the story of different people and how they are hippies in their life own life. This made me think that we too are the same. We do not really follow any particular institution to dream our goals. Unguided, we fall and stand up time and again. But we still love the path we choose to walk in. All of us have little or more experience in our journey towards goals.
Every time we achieve a milestone we really feel happy for ourselves, Isn’t that true? But was the road to smooth? You must have given so much of efforts while covering the milestones. I believe that Norman Schwarzkopf has correctly stated, “Success is sweet but the secret is sweat.”
The Journey isn’t over yet.
Many of us might have been working really hard but not being able to cover a single mile stone towards what we have dreamt. We see people around us with similar or near goals have already conquered a lot. Seeing this we often get frustrated and over think on future of our plans. Now, was it the last minute of our work that we should beat our head for failing in accomplishment?
There is no end of learning from life and there is no time limit for your plan to be the reality. Remember the story of KFC or Disney or the story of Steve Jobs that we briefed in our another article? Did they all become a brand in just one day or did any of them fail to be winners because of being late than any of their competitors? I know your answer is “No”. Neither of Walt Disney & Roy O. Disney nor Steve Jobs receives a Santa’s gift and became famous overnight. They all had to work till countless sweat drops and walk through many rocky mountains before the world called them a man, they are.
So, my dear buddy we all see the fruits and the big tree in the garden but we are unaware about the gardener’s effort behind big tree to grow. Better we should work harder without planning to give up.
What will people say, if we are late than other?
people did not walk the trek that u had in your journey neither they have any
idea of what you are planning inside. The dream is yours; do not spoil it for
what they say. Stay hungry for grabbing all that you chalked out for yourself.
Let them laugh at you for now because,
“How many roads must a man walk down
before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, ‘n’ how many times must the cannon balls fly
before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind!” – Bob Dylan
No, man is successful in life by fortune, they became a winner only after shedding sweat and sometimes blood too. Only keep your head high and keep no fear of failure in life because failures are the stepping stones to success.
